This is Trooper and he has been at the Toms River Animal Shelter way too long. He is a fantastic dog who has come a very long way. Like many dogs that are surrendered to shelters and rescue groups he didn't have any manners and was fairly clueless how to act around people and other dogs. Although he can still be very excitable he corrects extremely well now. With the right leadership and direction he can be trusted in any situation.
Trooper is a pro on the treadmill and it really helps burn off his energy. If you decide to adopt him we will show the steps we have taken to get him to where he is today.
He has been helping rehabilitate other dogs now for close to six months and is a valued member of our team. His time has come to move on to his forever home.
